In all honesty, i'm pretty tired of people asking me when I'm going to get a "real job".
rumor has it that they don't stop asking so i should get used to it. all i have to say is that when i wake up in the morning there is nothing that i'd rather be doing.
i see lives being changed.
there's nothing more awesome than seeing students making decisions to follow God with all of their hearts. to see the Lord answering their prayers, to see something happen that makes the light bulb light up, that makes something click, to see them put their hope and trust in God. To see them in the midst of trials (and i'm not talking some wimpy "i broke my nail" trial) clinging to God knowing that what He has for them at the end of it (as well as in the middle) will bring them closer to Him.
it motivates me and spurs me on.
so you can go ahead and tell me that this isn't a real job...and i will go ahead and invite you to come along with me and see this thing i do.
then you can tell me what is real and what is not. | | |
